b'CASE STUDYCyTOF identifies critical functional markers undetectable with spectral flow cytometry In a comparison study 2 , Boston University found that the CyTOF XT system consistently demonstrates superior signal:noise resolution of intracellular markers compared with spectral flow cytometry. CyTOF was strikingly superior in the detection of all intracellular categories, including cytokines, phosphorylated proteins and transcription factors.
