European Union Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive

Standard BioTools™ products that contain the WEEE symbol (crossed-out wheelie bin) and are used in Europe must be recycled in accordance with the EU's Waste, Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) directive.

We encourage you to use appropriate take-back systems to reuse or recycle most of the materials of your end-of-life equipment in a sound way.

To minimize negative environmental impact from disposal of electronic waste, do not dispose of electronic waste in unsorted municipal waste. Contact your local or regional waste administration for more information on collection, reuse, and recycling systems and contact customer service for information about responsible disposal options.
